With BEA's "Total Cost of Ownership" calculater, it's easy to determine the totality of your investment in our hardware and software packages so their are no surprises when purchasing.

Use the provided tool to specify the server architecture to use for the non-virtualized case (that is, the average processor capacity of your current servers), the number of application-server (app-server) instances running per core on those servers, and the server architecture to use for the two virtualized models (which can be the same as your current servers, although you can also select from several multi-way, multi-core options).

You can also calculate TCO based on list price for software licenses and support, or apply a 50 percent discount to all software costs used in the calculation.
