Administrators spend a lot of their time simply resetting passwords for users who have gotten locked out of their mailboxes because they forgot their password.
This white paper shows an administrator how to set up and utilize Password Reset Service, introduced with CallPilot Release 5. This feature is not unlike trying to access one of your accounts online when you can't remember your user ID or password. Password Reset Service allows an administrator to decide if users can reset their passwords via an email link, via questions and answers, or both.
This is a standard feature available on all CallPilot platforms and simply needs to be configured. With the utilization of this feature, you are putting the responsibility of resetting passwords back to the mailbox owner, thus freeing you to administrator other tasks.
