Overview:

Pinnacle Health - a four hospital, not-for-profit health system servicing central Pennsylvania - were being challenged with how to manage large volumes of of active and inactive film x-rays as they readied themselves for a move to PACS. And due to the large number of film x-rays involved, Pinnacle found that converting all of their historical images would be very cost prohibitive.

This case study examines how Pinnacle was able to benefit from an on-demand, off-site service that allows them to request - via phone or fax - required images which are then easily read and archived by fax. Now, Pinnacle is able to archive images when they need them, saving time and money.
