The California Endowment, a private, statewide health foundation, has been responsible for awarding over 9,000 grants totaling over $1.7 billion within the state of California. The organization’s social networking site – CalConnect – brought on two serious challenges for the company:
- Increase the ability to interact with grantees
- Create an environment that would foster communication between grantees and other California stakeholders
As such, The California Endowment went in search of a social collaboration platform that would allow them to bring together varied groups of individuals and organizations, share documents and information among stakeholders, and that would promote communication and discussion for members.
Access this case study to learn about how the organization met their community networking and collaboration goals with a simple and effective social platform.
