Overview:
Surety AbsoluteProof ensures the integrity of electronic records by establishing that they were created on a specific date and have not been altered since creation. Surety provides AbsoluteProof as an Internet-based, data integrity protection service that enables applications (such as content management systems and electronic lab notebooks) to process documents with a secure hash (or digital “fingerprint”) to the AbsoluteProof server. The server then associates a NISTbased time value with the hash and records the hash and time value in a database, and returns the bundled hash and time stamp to the application along with the AbsoluteProof Seal for that document.
