Overview: The Massachusetts Privacy Law (MA 201 CMR 17), designed to protect the personal identifiable information (PII) of the state's residents. It will mandate strong controls, including a requirement that organizations send out notifications when breaches occur that include the PII of Massachusetts' residents.
