Overview:
As the largest independent hotel management company in the US, Interstate
Hotels & Resorts operates 247 hospitality properties with more than 55,000
rooms across North America and Europe. When the company's tape backup
systems could no longer handle its growing volumes of financial data, Interstate
IT staff installed SEPATON S2100 virtual tape libraries (VTL) to meet
both its short and long-term secondary storage needs. The S2100 VTLs have
enabled the company to cut backup times, lengthen online retention times,
and provide higher levels of disaster protection.
